Fish patties

These tender fish patties with crab meat, mashed potatoes, and a hint of lime make a delightful appetizer or main course. Easy to prepare, they have a crispy exterior and a soft interior. Serve them with apple sauce for a great flavor contrast.

Ingridients:

1 onion
1 clove of garlic
15 g fresh ginger
500 g cod fillet
200 g crab meat
100 g mashed potatoes
grated zest of 1 lime
1 egg (+1 if desired)
1 tbsp. mustard
sea salt flakes
3-4 tbsp. wheat flour
olive oil for frying

Instructions:

In a large bowl, grate the onion, garlic, and ginger. Cut the fish fillet into large pieces and add it to the bowl

Add the crab meat, egg, mashed potatoes, lime zest, mustard, and salt. Mix well.

Add flour as needed and an additional egg if you prefer a creamier mixture.

Use a spoon to form small patties.

Fry in hot oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve with apple sauce.
