Baguette with feta, basil, tomatoes and capers

This simple recipe for baguette with feta and vegetables is a perfect choice for a light snack or a quick lunch. The aromatic bread, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, paired with creamy feta, juicy tomatoes, flavorful onions, and capers, creates a delicious and visually appealing appetizer. Ideal for summer picnics or as an appetizer for a party.

Ingridients:

1 baguette
2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
230 g feta
2 medium tomatoes 1 medium red onion (optional) 2 tbsp (30 g) capers 8 fresh basil leaves salt and pepper

Instructions:

Cut the baguette in half, then cut each half lengthwise into 2 pieces.

Dizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Place feta on the bread, then top with tomatoes, onions, capers, and basil.

Drizzle with more oil, and season with pepper and salt to taste.
